Little Millet (Saamai) is one of the healthiest Millets with lot of nutrients. This sweet appam is a popular Chettinad variety and following are the steps to make this.
Ingredients:
- Little Millet - 2 Cups
- Urad Dal - 3/4 Cup
- Coconut (Grated) - 1 Cup
- Jaggery - 1 Cup
- Moong Dal - 1 Spoon
- Fenugreek - 1 Spoon
- Channa Dal - 1 Spoon
- Cardamom - 2 to 3
- Salt - to taste
Steps:
- Soak All the Little Millet, Dals and Fenugreek for at least 2 hrs
- Grind all the soaked ingredients along with Coconut, Cardamom, Salt and Jaggery.
- Cook as shown in the video.
