Kodo Millet (Varagu) is a nutrient rich millet and a very good source of fiber and other minerals.
This recipe gives the details of making delicious Idly and Dosa using Kodo Millet.
- Kodo Millets - 3 Cups
- Urad dal - 1 Cup
- Red Rice Flacks - 1 Cup
- Soak Urad dhal and Kodo Millet for at least 4 hrs
- Add the Rice flakes 10 mins before grinding
- Grind all the items
- Let the batter ferment for 8 hours
